In early January warm sunshine greeted us on arrival in Spain. The day was so clear and temperature was up on the 20's. So nice at this time of year. When the sun set a bright moon appeared over the hill behind the house. The stars were clear and the milkyway just visible until the moon rose and filled the sky with light.
In the morning we could still see the moon. The sun rose and hit the hills, our view was bathed in warm orange light.
Today we were lucky, we had a welcome visit from our friend the House Gecko. The wildlife is wonderful here, ever changing. Yesterday evening a murmuration of starlings was circling the valley below the house.
